This Privacy Policy explains how ProPools processes the personal data of the users of the ProPools application (staff and clients), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019 of 8 August.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions with legal effects about you.

Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law. We do not sell or share the data with third parties for any other purpose.

5. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers (OneSignal, OpenAI, Anthropic) may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. In such cases, transfers take place with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, ask for processing to be restricted, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive the data you provided in a structured format (portability) and withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@propools.pt. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD – www.cnpd.pt).

The application only uses cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for it to work: the session cookie (to keep you signed in), protection against forged requests (CSRF) and preferences such as language and theme. No analytics or advertising cookies are used, so no consent is required.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, role-based access and backups.

This Privacy Policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
